MOVING AROUND
At the door of Périgord, the commune of Gurat is situated half an hour south of Angouleme and only 1h30 from Bordeaux thanks to the N10 road. Gurat is also situated only an hour away from Périgueux and not far from large historical sites.

Getting around by bus...
The department of the Charente offers the possibility to get around the department, to Angouleme for example, for only 1€.
Gurat has it's own bus stop in the center of the village. The commune is serviced by the 16 line which passes through once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Angoulême and the Charente
Only half an hour north of Gurat, Angoulême, which houses the prefecture for the department, is also the home of cartoon strips in France.
The town is crossed by the N10 linking Paris to Bordeaux, the N141 linking Limoges to Saintes and the D939 for Périgueux.

Capital of the region Anquitaine-Limousin-Poitou-Charentes, Bordeaux is situated only 1h30 from Gurat via the N10.

The commune of Gurat is situated only a few hundred meters from the Dordogne and therefore finds itself 30 minutes from Brantôme and 1h from Périgueux.
